Palatine Library of Parma

The Palatine Library of Parma possesses important ancient manuscript and printed collections and has mainly a humanistic historical focus. It collects and preserves national and local Italian publishing production – for the latter through the compulsory deposit of printed books – and acquires publications that document the developments of foreign culture, taking into account the specificity of its collections and the needs of users. The library is intended for those who carry out study and research activities and for those who cannot find the desired works in other libraries.
