The Castle of Sangineto identified as the "castle of the Prince, dates back to the 14th-15th century, was probably built by the Counts of Sangineto, in the 15th century it belonged to the Sanseverino family, in 1639 it was owned by Tommaso Maiorana, Marquis of Sangineto.
It has a quadrangular plan with high cylindrical towers protruding at the corners.
Inside there is a rectangular courtyard on which there is a two-flight staircase that allows access to the upper floors. The castle stands on a high base and in correspondence of the towers it widens like a shoe. The residential block is illuminated on three sides by rectangular windows uneven in shape and size, on the south-west side there is an airy loggia with four arches in Renaissance style.
