Along the streets of the old town the Haversan nobility fought for the highest portal. The larger and more airy the entrance to the palace, the greater was the power of those who lived there. Of great value and beauty we find Palazzo Pelliccia, then Candia. This noble palace, which we hope you visit, also hosted King Vittorio Emanuele. It is located in the central square of Aversa, which is distinguished by a wonderful central fountain gushing, and has a particular clock on the facade. Today this clock does not work but it had three sounds; for the hour, the half hour and the quarter hours.
