The Muba, the Children’s Museum, is the home of all the little Milanese children. A home where you can learn, play, get excited, give your contribution to art and culture. The Muba Foundation – created in 1995 to create a children’s museum, after years of wanderings and temporary locations and after an extraordinary activity that gave rise to thirteen interactive exhibitions for children – in 2014 found a home at the Rotonda della Besana, an 18th century complex that includes the former church of San Michele and the garden enclosed by the colonnade. This was the birthplace of Muba, a museum but also a permanent centre for cultural and artistic projects dedicated to children, a place open to innovation that brings together national and international excellence in culture, education, science and the arts to promote the development of creativity and creative design thinking.
