The Mart of Rovereto is certainly one of the most visited museums in Trentino and a point of reference for modern and contemporary art. The spectacular structure, designed by the architect Mario Botta, houses a permanent collection of about 20,000 works with famous names such as Hayez, Boccioni, de Chirico and a particular attention to the major artistic movements of the last century, with a focus on Futurism.
The section dedicated to contemporary art is very rich, with works by Pistoletto, Burri, Fontana, Merz and protagonists of international art such as Morris, Fulton, Abramovic. The calendar of temporary exhibitions, events and workshops, also for children, is very rich and well organized.
