The Historical Gallery of the Fire Brigade of Mantua, if not unique, is one of the few in Italy for the materials on display and stored inside. It goes from static historical relics to motor vehicles from all over the national territory, real mechanical masterpieces still in working order.
Housed in a building whose access is located at the beginning of Piazza Arche called for this purpose: Largo Vigili del Fuoco, near the Tower of Sant’Alò. Spaces and rooms are part of the monumental complex of the Ducal Palace.
Born in the 90s of the last century, by the firm will of Eng. Nicola Colangelo, former Commander of the Mantua Fire Department, is directed in the organization by the Provincial Fire Department of Mantua in collaboration with the Superintendence.
