The Cycling Museum "L. Guerra" preserves the first pink jersey in the history of the Giro d’Italia, worn by the cyclist in 1931, the same year in which he graduated world champion in Copenhagen. Winner of the Italian title five times in a row (1930-34), yellow jersey at the Tour de France, recordman of seasonal victories until 1970, Guerra, at the end of his career as a cyclist, began his career as a sports and industrial manager of the bicycle: in 1947, in fact, he began to produce bikes under his own brand. On display are the two wheels that brought him success during his competitive activity, in particular the Maino, the "steel horse", with which he won the 1933 Milano-Sanremo and the 1934 Giro.
