The Corkscrew Museum was born in 2006 in Barolo, land of wine par excellence, in the premises of an old winery next to the municipal castle. The museum tells the story of the evolution of this simple tool, but rich in history and curiosity: you can admire over five hundred examples of corkscrews from all over the world, made from the second half of the seventeenth century. It also offers a large section dedicated to literature on the subject, a bookshop and a wine cellar where you can buy bottles of Barolo, other wines from the Langhe, typical local food products and ancient and modern corkscrews.
