The Civic Museum "G. B. Adriani" is located in the seventeenth-century Palazzo Gotti of Salerano". In some rooms, frescoed by Taricco in the years 1672-81, there are documents of local and Piedmontese history, various ancient objects (statuettes, amphorae, cinerary urns), a medallion and a remarkable numismatic collection (Greek, Roman, Italian and foreign coins). The collections, coming from the donation of G.B.Adriani, a famous historian of the last century, are of extraordinary importance for the history and for the reconstruction of the local culture. In the main hall of the Palace the Piedmontese Senate held its regular sessions during the siege of Turin in 1706.
