The White War museums collect and preserve the war relics of the First World War found in the Adamello – Presanella mountains and represent the historical memory of what happened between 1915 and 1918. At the White War Museum in Temù and Vermiglio you can find weapons, uniforms and many everyday objects on display. At Passo del Tonale there is the Ossuary Monument, a symbol of the sacrifice of the soldiers who fought in the White War. In the Temù Museum, in particular, you can admire a very complete collection of war relics and artifacts from the First World War, in particular the objects that characterized the conflict at the high altitudes of the Adamello. The presence of a hut used by soldiers in the high mountains and other objects of daily life immerse the visitor in the atmosphere of the front. Weapons, cannons, ammunition, military uniforms and a large collection of period photographs are on display.
