The Crazy House of Hằng Nga is in all likelihood the most unusual, and least Vietnamese, attraction to be found in Da Lat. Already the name suggests to us the fact that it is an unconventional work, designed by what is the daughter of former General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Trường Chinh, the architect Đặng Việt Nga.
It is a palace, used as a hotel, designed with the idea of becoming a fairy house. The structure, in fact, recalls the appearance of a giant tree, to which decorations of artificially recreated natural elements have been implemented, such as caves and animals, but also leaves and mushrooms. What also stands out to the eye are the complex and organic shapes, in order to give the structure the most naturalistic appearance possible.
