The Bussento and the paths of Morigerati

Morigerati is a WWF Oasis since 1985, a biological reserve for the protection of biodiversity and the enhancement of an area of 670 hectares in which you can admire the resurgence of the Bussento. The river, in the heart of the Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, near Caselle in Pittari is swallowed by the earth to re-emerge in the area of Morigerati. A canyon covered by luxuriant vegetation to be visited by following a path that winds from the old town along a stream with springs, waterfalls, an old mill up to the cave where you can witness the resurgence of the karst river Bussento.
