National Gallery of Cosenza is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of Italian art, from the fifteenth to the twentieth century, thanks to the extraordinary works of painters of Calabrian origin: from those of Marco Cardisco, to the Holy Family of Pietro Negroni from Cosenza, to the works of Francesco Cozza, Mattia Preti and Umberto Boccioni, up to those of Neapolitan artists, such as the splendid canvases by Luca Giordano, who influenced the results of local painting.
The Gallery is in the historical centre, on the Triglio hill, inside the majestic Palazzo Arnone, built in the sixteenth century.
