The epic of the Flag Brothers’ expedition to Calabria is remembered by several monuments in the same Region. In Cosenza, the monument, memory of their tragic death, is known as the "Tomb of the Bandiera Brothers" and is located in Piazza XV Marzo in Cosenza. The work, of which Giuseppe Pacchioni was the creator, was erected after the Unification of Italy in 1879.
