The Museum of the Risorgimento and the contemporary age of Faenza is a collection of relics and documents concerning historical figures and events in Faenza and the surrounding area from 1790, when Napoleon’s troops arrived in Faenza, until 1945, when the Second World War ended. There are also letters and portraits of the great national Risorgimento protagonists such as Giuseppe Mazzini, Giuseppe garibaldi, Vittorio Emanuele II and documentation relating to the Italian colonial wars and the First World War. Currently, in anticipation of a forthcoming opening, it is being inventoried and set up.
