Located in the main square of the city centre, Piazza Umberto I, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Colle is the most important monument of the small village of Mormanno. Erected in 1180 but it assumed its present appearance only in 1700. It was consecrated by Mons. Paolino Pace, Bishop of Vico Equense and fellow citizen of Mormanno, on 5th September 1790.
The church is rich in works of art.
