The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum is a house-museum that is the result of an extraordinary collecting story of the late nineteenth century; the protagonists were two brothers – Barons Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi – who decided to renovate the family home in neo-Renaissance style in the heart of Milan and to collect a rich collection of works of art and artifacts from the fourteenth – sixteenth century. Open to the public since 1994, Fausto and Giuseppe’s home is now a fascinating museum house.
