The Brera Botanical Garden is part of the Brera Astronomical Botanical Garden Museum of the University of Milan. The aim of the Museum è the preservation of the historical and scientific and historical heritage of Palazzo Brera.Although in Palazzo Brera there has always been a space dedicated, depending on the needs and periods, to gardening, horticulture, cultivation of medicinal plants, meditation and contemplation, the creation of a real “Botanical Garden ” it took place in 1774 at the behest of Maria Theresa of Austria.
