Laigueglia, the ancient fishing village

Laigueglia is an ancient fishing village in the province of Savona. The village is a fascinating labyrinth of winding alleys, small squares overlooking the sea and pastel-coloured houses, with the monumental Church of San Matteo like a protective shadow. The small village becomes even more suggestive at the end of June, when the Jazz Festival is held and for the occasion a stage is set up with the sea behind it.
