The Museo Storico del Bottone Sandro Partesotti houses part of a collection that is the result of more than two decades of research and includes specimens from many countries, especially France, England and the United States, dating from the 17th century to 1970 with some significant references to current events. The captions and texts in the exhibition illustrate romantic stories such as that of the 999 glass buttons collected by the American Misses in the 1800s with an éscamotage to find a husband or that of the adventurous Austrian glassmaker who emigrated to London for racial laws where he created buttons using casts of medals sold by the Victoria & Albert Museum.
