Few people know it, but in Padua there is a municipal rose garden, and it is very close to Prato della Valle: it is the rose garden of Santa Giustina. At number 65 in Via Sanmicheli, you will find the entrance to a long and fascinating garden close to the medieval walls, where there are many species of fragrant roses! Here, as well as taking a romantic stroll, you can also learn all about roses and their history and be stimulated by an intriguing sensory journey. Entrance is free but opening hours are restricted, so check them out before you go.
