This small museum contains alembics, instruments and pestles belonging to the Foletto family, pharmacists in the Ledro Valley for more than a century. In addition to the preparation of medicines, ointments and salves, the laboratory also made syrups from Ledro Valley fruit and liqueurs, which can still be enjoyed today, such as the famous Picco Rosso.
In addition to didactic and cultural activities, the laboratory hall also hosts specialised workshops for curious visitors of all ages who are guided in the preparation – according to ancient spice-making recipes – of ointments and other handmade herbal preparations.
