On a sinuous hill behind Sanremo there is a small village, Bussana Vecchia, where art can be breathed in every corner. Destroyed by a violent earthquake at the end of the nineteenth century, this village was emptied little by little and then reborn in the 1950s thanks to a group of artists, philosophers and craftsmen who renovated the old houses around the castle, transforming them into their new residences and art studios.
So the village, among open-air workshops, taverns and colorful shops, has come back to life and still today travelers are fascinated by it.
