The name of Bertinoro, which recalls the legend of the passage of Galla Placidia, daughter of the Emperor Theodosius who fell in love with the blond nectar of Albana, is associated with a long tradition of wine-making… Following the panoramic path "Strada della Vendemmia" (Grape Harvest Road), a poetic exaltation of the wine vocation of the area, we will reach the main square, unique in its kind, as it is a real terrace from which you can enjoy a wide view of the whole of Romagna, as far as the sea: It is overlooked by the Town Hall with its high tower, which served as a lighthouse for sailors, the sixteenth-century Church of Santa Caterina and the famous "Colonna delle Anella", symbol of the feeling of hospitality that characterizes Bertinoro.
