Triveni Ghat is a famous and important landmark in Rishikesh. It signifies the convergence of the three most important rivers in India: the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Often considered to be a holy spot due to the convergence, the ghat witnesses a daily Ganga Aarti that attracts a large number of visitors.
The aarti comprises the chanting of bhajans, the clashing of drums and bells and is truly a spectacle to witness.The aarti is conducted in the late evenings at Triveni Ghat.
