The Pollara Beach is a real little corner of paradise where some scenes of the film "Il Postino" were shot, where the poet Neruda swam in solitude. It is located on the island of Salina, in the Aeolian archipelago.Pollara beach is composed of large stones between the rocks, there is not much space, but this is what makes it unique and intimate, set within a cliff-shaped amphitheater. To get there you will have to walk a steep path, but beautiful, it will cost you a bit of effort, especially on the way back, but it will be worth it.
