The Legend of the Lover

Between Via Federico d’Aragona and Vico del Theuta there is a sculpted female figure. The story goes that the man who lived in the building was madly in love with the woman across the street. The two loved each other through a game of glances, until the opposition of her parents led the girl to suicide. The boy never stopped loving her and decided to have her face carved in stone.
