Tarvisio: The lakes of Fusine

The Fusine lakes is a very quiet place with two lakes of glacial origin located about 1 km from the Italian/Slovenian border. Although the water is generally too cold to swim, the two lakes attract thousands of tourists every year who want to admire the depths, thanks to the extremely clear water: there are many rowing boats available for rent. From there you can then walk along the surrounding paths and climb up until you have a breathtaking view of the Julian Alps.
