Surrounded by magnificent vineyards Spiez Castle stands directly on the shores of Lake Thun. The extensive grounds of Spiez Castle extend along the bay of the lake. The castle’s 1000 year-old church dates from the Early Romanesque period.The court rooms were built in the height of the Renaissance Era. The southern addition was finished in 18th century in the elaborate Baroque style.
