The Mushroom Museum of San Sisto collects more than two hundred plaster casts reproducing the most common species of mushrooms in the Montefeltro area. The structure has been enhanced with networked computer equipment able to connect to multimedia databases concerning the natural heritage of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino and mycology in general. The multimedia library, consisting of an archive of CD-Roms on scientific-naturalistic topics, is available to visitors to the centre for consultation.
The museum is completed by a conference room with about forty seats, equipped for meetings and scientific debates, and a laboratory for environmental teaching experiences.
