The Cathdral of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is really huge. By its volume it occupies the third place in Russia after Moscow and St Petersburg Cathdrals. Against the background of a rural location it looks enormous. There is a monastery compound around the Cathdral: the 18th century Church in the Classicism style, a small tea place and a church museum.
