Palinuro: The Cave of the Bones

The Grotta delle Ossa (Cave of the Bones) is accessible only from the sea that opens at the foot of the Castle of Molpa in the rocky and jagged coastline that surrounds Palinuro.its name derives from the prehistoric bone finds and numerous fossils of shells that have been found within this environment, made spectacular by the crystal clear color of the water as well as by the numerous stalagmites and stalactites that emerge.
