The Museum of the Risorgimento in Catanzaro is housed in the Florestano Pepe Barracks and documents the events of the Italian Risorgimento, the Wars of Africa and Spain, through the exhibition of uniforms, photographs, memorabilia, weapons, documents of various kinds.
A curiosity is the press of the Bourbon General Vito, governor of Calabria, who in 1815 presided over the execution of Joachim Murat in Pizzo Calabro.
