Museum of Coffee Machines
This is one of the world’s largest and most complete exhibitions of espresso coffee machines for bars, with over 100 examples of great historical and stylistic value that show both the evolution of the Italian espresso extraction system during the 20th century and how the artistic and stylistic currents have strongly influenced the shapes, materials and decorations with which the machines were made. Following a chronological path it is possible to admire the first steam-powered column machines of the early 1900s, those with manual lever system of the post-war period up to the continuous dispensing models from the 1960s to the present day.
All the machines are original, some of them perfectly working, authentic masterpieces of Italian industry technique and design, some born from the pencils of prestigious Italian designers who have been able to interpret and adapt to coffee machines the social and artistic influences of every historical moment.
