Mount Fairweather:the highest point in British Columbia

At 15,300′ and the highest point in British Columbia, Fairweather stands proudly just 10 miles from the Gulf of Alaska. It was named by Captain James Cook, who saw the peak in 1778 while navigating the bay in “fair weather.”
