Located in the Plaza de la República S/N, Tabacalera, Cuauhtémoc, 06030, Mexico City, CDMX; with a height of 67 mts and under the Art Deco and Modernism architectural styles; the Monument to the Revolution is an architectural work and a mausoleum dedicated to the commemoration of the Mexican Revolution. It is the work of Carlos Obregón Santacilia, who took the structure of the Hall of the Lost Steps of the failed Émile Bénard Legislative Palace to build the monument, which was completed in 1938. It is currently one of the most recognizable in Mexico City, and is part of a set composed by the monument itself, the Plaza de la República and the National Museum of the Revolution. It is located in the Colonia Tabacalera of the Delegación Cuauhtémoc, near the Historic Center of Mexico City.
