Monte Clérigo is perhaps one of the most picturesque villages in Portugal. Imagine a cliff dropping sheer into the sea, a green mantle at the top and, nestled in the rock on one side, a small village of a few houses, mostly white. Few souls for this picturesque Portuguese village, which in periods of low tide overlooks an endless white beach particularly popular during the summer. From the top of the cliff you can dominate the landscape at 360 degrees, from the Atlantic Ocean to the hinterland.
