Right in front of the church of Santa Maria della Sapienza we can see the monastery of S. Giovanni Battista delle Monache, built in 1673 by the Dominican nuns, in open competition with that of the Sapienza, the works were directed by the architect Antonio Picchiatti, completed in ‘700 by Giovan Battista Nauclerio, author of the splendid facade of the church.
