Guglionesi has an almost intact historic center, rich in medieval monuments, but also gourmet destinations. In Guglionesi it is a pleasure to stroll around, visiting the magnificent church of Santa Maria Maggiore, which holds superb works of art, and the Crypt of St. Adam, with majestic frescoed arches. In the Romanesque Church of St. Nicholas of Bari, the depiction of the clash between good and evil on the lunette above the portal is worth a close look. Guglionesi enjoys a happy location that dialogues between the cultivated hills of the hinterland and the coastline, to the point that residents call their promenade on the belvedere "the seafront," because of the seafaringly scenic view.
