The Farnesian Costume Museum is located on the top floor (second floor) and on the floor below Palazzo Farnese, one of the most important monuments of the town of Gradoli. It was inaugurated in December 1998 to keep the town’s heritage alive.
The museum is divided into several rooms in which we find a vast reproduction of noble and popular clothes, underwear, accessories, weapons, armour, jewellery from the Renaissance period, domestic utensils for working wool and hemp from the 1900s. The clothes were created thanks to the observation of frescoes, paintings and prints of the ‘400, ‘500 and ‘600.
