The Glacier Express is one of the most famous panorama trains as it offers its passengers the opportunity to admire unique landscapes. From the city of St. Moritz, crossing the entire Alpine arc, you can arrive in Zermatt with a train trip of about 8 hours. The journey of discovery through the Upper Engadin crosses 291 bridges, 91 tunnels and the 2033 m high Oberalp Pass. The route can be taken both in summer, when you can admire the bucolic landscapes and green forests from the panoramic carriages, and in winter, when you can contemplate the blue skies and white snow-capped mountains.
