The free beach of the Coastal Park of Rimigliano extends for 6 km and to define it as "secret" may seem strange. But a succession of oaks and holm oaks, Mediterranean scrub and dunes hides the long golden sandy beach and creates a remote and wild environment.
The naturalistic area extends from San Vincenzo to Piombino and overlooks the Tuscan Archipelago. Access to the park is free of charge and is guaranteed by 10 entrances located along the "Via della Principessa" (named after Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister, Marianna, known as Elisa).
The coastal road is equipped with a cycle path and is flanked by numerous car parks (many of which are pay car parks). The coastal area of the park is criss-crossed by numerous paths and has toilets, showers, drinking fountains, some picnic areas and a kiosk.
