Frankfurt: the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew

St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral – The emperors of Germany were crowned in this magnificent sandstone cathedral between 1562 and 1792. Although much of it was destroyed during the war, part of the original facade remains. Climb to the top of the tower for fantastic views of the city.
