Inside are preserved some beautiful works of art, including the only work of Giotto present in Mugello, the "Madonna and Child". There are certain news about the existence of this church since the end of the X century. The bell tower, on the other hand, dates back to 1236, when the parish church was also restructured. Inside the church there are some beautiful works of art: a "Madonna in Trono col Bambino", attributed to Agnolo Gaddi; a "Madonna" attributed to the genius of Giotto; "La Vergine e i Santi Francesco e Domenico", by Matteo Rosselli. The apse of the church is entirely frescoed by Galileo Chini.
