Chesil beach is the most extraordinary part of Dorset coastline and one of the strangest features of the whole of the english coast.Strtching for 29 KM (18 mi) it is a bank of pebbles about 170 m (555 ft) wide and 14 m ( 45 ft) high stretching from Portland to Burton Bradstock.
