The Museum of Brunello collects in its rooms the soul of a country known today for its wine, which has always been the protagonist of a history made of tenacity, work, struggle, but also joy of life, culture, respect for itself, for others and for nature. Over 1,000 square meters of objects, photographs, documents, films, among which you can go around, alone or accompanied by guides, to discover the origins of a myth.
There are two thematic routes in the museum. The first recounts the Community of Montalcino before Brunello, the ancient trades, the sharecropping life. The second recounts the history of Brunello di Montalcino, explaining what this wine is, how it was born, who the pioneers were, what are the processes in the vineyard and cellar, and finally the terroir of Montalcino and its many microclimates.
In the Brunello Museum there is also the Labyrinth of Brunello: an exhibition of over 200 bottles from the cellars of Montalcino.
