Surely one of the things to do in Prossedi is to visit the cave of Ausi, which is located a few kilometers from the village of Prossedi, an easy excursion in which you do not need special caving equipment except a headlamp. Its interest is given by the beautiful limestone formations of stalactites and stalagmites a waterfall that feeds a small lake from which it originates the stream, which is a tributary of the river Amaseno.
The cave is included in the list of the Geosites of Lazio for its high naturalistic and geological value.
