Adiyogi, the largest bust-sculpture in the world

The marvelous steel statue of Adiyogi, dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva, is a gigantic sculpture weighing 500 tons and a whopping 34 meters high. Inaugurated in 2017, it is located in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India, exactly at the foot of the Velliangiri mountains near the city of Coimbatore. It is a work designed by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev and built by his Isha Foundation. The statue of Adiyogi Shiva, recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the largest bust-sculpture in the world, represents an iconic inspiration aimed at promoting yoga. The name Adiyogi means "first yogi" and Shiva, according to the Indian philosophical system, is recognized as the creator of yoga. The 112 feet height of the statue symbolizes the 112 chakras of the body that are used in meditation.
