Dominion Office Building, also known as Dominion Tower, is a building designed by architect Zaha Hadid in the southeastern district of Moscow, Russia.
Located in Moscow’s Sharikopodshipnikovskaya Street, near the tram and trolleybus stops and Dubrovka station on the Lyublinskaya line of the Moscow Metro, the Dominion Office Building is among the first of the new projects to be built for the growing creative and IT sectors in this predominantly industrial and residential district in the city’s southeast. With the restaurant on the ground floor connecting the atrium to the outdoor terrace and Sharikopodshipnikovskaya Street beyond, and the café/snack areas and lounging areas on the balconies, the atrium becomes a multi-level shared space that encourages interaction between employees of companies within the building. This integration also encourages collaboration between companies from different services and disciplines. Many IT and creative industry start-up companies see this culture of collective research as vital to progress and development, and the design of the Dominion Office Building reinforces this concept with open connectivity throughout the building.
