Description

The Würzburg Bratwurst is ordered in style as a "Geknickte" (once broken through) "mit" (medium hot mustard) in a "Kipf" (roll). For this we visited the popular Knüpfing Bratwurst stand at the covered market line on the Unterer Markt. Great market atmosphere.
By the way: We know such vocabulary from Vienna – for example "Eitrige" (cheese creiner), "Bugl" (Scherzerl bread), "Krokodü" (vinegar gherkin), "G’schissener" (Krems mustard), "G’spiebener" (sweet mustard), "Glasaug" (pearl onion), "Oaschpfeiferl" (hot pepperoni), "16er Blech" (can of Ottakringer beer) or "Hüsn" (canned beer).
